Rugged Point on Vancouver Island’s west coast definitely caught us by surprise. We’ve been to some beautiful beaches over the years. This one ranks up at or near the top for rugged spectacular beauty. We anchored on the inside of the point and walked through the trees emerging on to a spectacular white sand beach. Except for a surfer that was camped on the inside with his dog, we had the place to ourselves.
