While in San Diego, we had the pleasure of tagging along with our friends, the Brubakers, to their Sunday routine of making burritos for the homeless.
They work with the Burritoboyz, an organization that has been around for about 12 years. The story of its origins is pretty inspiring and we felt honoured to be allowed to help out.

Looks like fun. Reminds me of our time volunteering for the Westside Food Bank while in Arizona. Good fun and fellowship and we got to keep a bag of fresh oranges we had gleaned from the back yard orange trees. Cool here today only 5 C this morning but the sun is shinning brightly.

I remember Brubakers talking about this, in Beijing and when I visited one evening. Sounded so helpful and rewarding. Glad you got to help out!
