Chacala is a quiet beach town that’s an easy sail south from our stop in Mantanchen Bay. It’s known for being a rollie anchorage but we put out a stern anchor which helped.
The town is only a few blocks long and consists of a few hotels, some small grocery stores, and shops selling tourist essentials like swimsuits, hats and unnecessary knick-knacks. The beach is gorgeous and relatively unspoiled by the influx of tourists.

Beautiful! Wonderful to see such a pristine beach! So glad you had a great time with H&D! What a wonderful gift to go sailing with you! 🌴😍😍🌴

Looks lovely. Fogging here earlier but starting to clear. The roofers are busy next door putting new shingles on the Low’s place.
