Welcome to our site. It is a place for us to post updates about our sailing trip as well as being a hub for our various social media sites–i.e. Instagram. We are teachers so we’ll write a few “teacherish” posts once in a while that explain some of the basics of sailing and life on a boat.

Our ability to connect to the internet will vary so it’s best to subscribe so you’ll be notified when things change.

A Word About Browsers

We’ve found that some web browsers are blocking some of the content of our site. It’s a tricky one to troubleshoot but here’s what we’ve found so far:

• Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge seem to be okay. At least the way we have them configured on our laptops is okay.
• The Facebook Container extension in Firefox blocks our Instagram feeds from loading on our homepage. Disabling the extension when visiting our site will allow the photos to load. Unfortunately, you can’t turn it off only for our site. If we come up with a better solution we’ll update the info here.
• Apple’s Safari is blocking photos from our site from loading properly. The only work around we have found is to uncheck the “Prevent cross-site tracking” option in the Privacy settings in Safari’s Preferences. Like with Firefox this applies to all sites, not just ours.
