In Southern California we have been fortunate to see many dolphins. Sometimes we see large groups of them at a distance. Other times a group will charge up to the boat and play at our bow or beside the boat for ten or fifteen minutes. It’s a joy to sit on the deck and watch them.
Interestingly, they seem to be watching us too. Periodically, a dolphin will roll slightly to one side and look up at us.

The dolphins are always exciting to see, they tend to pay us a visit just outside mission bay most times we head out for a day sail. A big hit with kids for sure!
