This sunrise was taken while leaving Santa Catalina Island off the coast of Santa Barbara, CA. We were heading to San Diego and needed an early start so we would arrive before sunset. And no I did not get a spectacular sunset to bookend this sunrise. That would have required too much thinking ahead…
