When we were in Banderas Bay we took advantage of some of the info sessions offered by the La Cruz Marina and the local sailing community. We participate in a session on Offshore Weather and one on Cruising to the Marquesas. The weather session covered information like choosing the right time to set off and how to choose the best route once underway. The session about cruising to the Marquesas was lead by a couple that have sailed there twice. Additionally, in the room were several other cruising couples that had sailed to the Marquesas. The information was invaluable.
As we meet more and more people that plan to head across the South Pacific, we’re getting excited. It won’t be long now!

Yes I can imagine how excited you must be anticipating this epic voyage. Trust you have gotten everything fixed that has broken and that you will have a pleasant and safe journey. I guess Mike will be joining you soon.
