We arrived home to the boat a week ago. We’ve busied ourselves getting things stowed and getting a few odd jobs done. Thankfully, Sharlene’s hard work before we left meant that there was no mold and no bugs when we arrived. We did get a COVID surprise though.
Three days after arriving to the boat I, Rob, came down with a head cold. I took a COVID test and was surprised that the result was positive. Thankfully, it wasn’t too bad and after a couple of lazy days hanging out below decks, I was feeling much better and started back on the to-do list. A couple of days after I showed symptoms, Sharlene started showing symptoms. It’s her turn to have a few lazy days confined to quarters.
Thankfully, we have a week until Hannah and David join us for some sailing. It is plenty of time to get healthy and have the boat in tip-top shape for their visit.

Sure glad your covid was a mild case. The USA is reporting a dramatic increase in Covid, mainly due to lack of desire to take the booster, where a mask and of course herd mentality. Thanks for sharing.
