Away From the Dock

We made it away from the dock a couple of days ago. We didn’t get far–just four nm–but we got away.

We weren’t fast either. The growth on the bottom was very thick having spent two months at the dock. I (Rob) put our hookah system to good use yesterday and gave the hull a good scrub.

After that, we had a leisurely sail to our current location, Musket Cove. It’s busy! We thought it was busy when we were here in June but there are three times as many boats here now.

We’ll stay another night before heading closer to Nadi where we’ll pick up our daughter Hannah and her husband, David, in a few days.

  1. Sail on Rob! Love reading about your adventures! Hopefully I’ll be able to hear more about them over a cold beer one day. Peace.

    1. Hey Steve, good to hear from you. I look forward to catching up over a cold beer, hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.

  2. Enjoy! Glad you are recovered from Covid. So far we’ve “dodged it” thankfully!

Have a wonderful time with David & Hannah! 💟
